The Scissor and Boom Lift course is a great way to get competent on two of the most common types of EWPs, at an affordable price. Being versatile is key to you or your staff’s skillset, so why not have multiple machines on your license to be ahead of the competition?
Our assessors pass on their EWP experience and knowledge of the machines with the aim to give you confidence and practical, real world, expertise allowing you or your staff to complete their job safely.
You will receive the following Unit Standards on your NZQA Record of Achievement and on your license:
23966 – Describe types of EWP, and legislative requirements for their use (Theory) - This must be completed for all new card holders
23960 – Assess the worksite, prepare and operate a scissor lift EWP (Practical)
23962 – Assess the worksite, prepare and operate a self-propelled boom lift EWP (Practical)

Upon successful completion of the course, we take care of the rest! Your Unit Standards will be sent to Te Pukenga who will place these on your NZQA Record of Achievement. HIANZ now has a mobile app which will allow you to view all of your Silvercard qualification in one convenient location. You will be sent a link to download the app once you have finished the course.
