Refresher - Operate a powered industrial lift truck (forklift) - SS40735

Already an Forklift Pro? Great news! The Forklift Refresher course will be a great way to brush up on your practical skills as well as update your knowledge of health and safety surrounding the machines.

So long as you already hold the Unit Standards, you can carry out a refresher course within 3 years of the initial training course you attended.

The half day course is designed to deliver essential safety and compliance information. Attendees will gain theoretical knowledge and practical skills.

• demonstrate knowledge of the safe operation of a forklift;
• perform a preoperational inspection and start up procedure for a forklift;
• demonstrate practical forklift skills, park and shut down a forklift

Upon successful completion of the course, we take care of the rest! Your Skill Standards will be reported by Silvercard and placed on your NZQA Record of Achievement. 

HIANZ now has a mobile app which will allow you to view all of your Silvercard qualification in one convenient location. You will be sent a link to download the app once you have finished the course.
